Planetek experience
conjugates mastering of advanced remote sensing processing, with GIS
Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) competence and real world application
delivery. Moreover Planetek it is very active in the field of promotion of
Earth Observation exploitation and pursue close relation with Education and
Research Organization. Joint development is ongoing with several departments
of Bari and Venice Universities in GIS and advanced remote sensing.
Planetek is among the founders of the Italian
Small and Medium Aerospace Enterprises Association and member of the
Associazione Italiana Telerilevamento. Planetek works in conformance with
the International Standards Organisations (ISO) 9001. There is a Quality
Assurance manager that reports directly to the Managing Director of the
Company. Planetek Italia quality system has received its first ISO 9001:1994
Certification in January 2000 by DNV Italia, and has received a new ISO
9001:2000 certification in march 2001 for application of a total quality
assurance.

Daniela Iasillo
Daniela Iasillo - Physical Degree is head
of the Geospatial Application Unit at Planetek Italia. Since 1999 she has
been involved in many projects on thematic information extraction from
optical EO data. She is involved in EU project Geoland2 focused on landcover/landuse
information extraction from VHR data.

Jens Stutte
Jens Stutte - (born in Dortmund/Germany,
August 14th 1969) is currently project manager within the Geospatial Systems
Unit at Planetek Italia. He has a profound formation and a long experience
as C/C++ and Java Software Engineer and Architect, with particular
experiences first in graphical desktop applications (NeoN Grafix 3D,
1994-1999) and then in distributed Java applications in Enterprise
Environments (head of software development of
www.netmedia.de, 1997-2001; project manager for
www.quidinfo.it , 2002-2005). He has 16 years experience in Software
Design & Development, 12 years Enterprise Integration experience and 10
years PM experience. He has been or is currently involved in several EU
projects like LIMES, SAFER (as PM tutor for Planetek Hellas), GRAAL.
Vito De Pasquale
Vito De Pasquale - He has a Phd in Physics
gained at Università degli Studi di Bari. He worked for 6 years at Italian
National Council of Research mainly on remote sensing of coastal water
marine areas. Actually, he is part of the Geospatial Application Unit staff.
He works on projects focused on remote sensing data processing for
environmental and territory applications. He has 8 years of experience in
remote sensing applications.
